What is your main focus mindset in your day to day that keeps you moving forward
Yoga and meditate to start the day, without this her day is scattered. Have to find peace and happiness within herself.
What is your story?
She was introduced to eastern spirituality early on life. Both her parents are followers of an organization built by Swami Muktananda. Growing up she did not practice meditation; deviate far from it. On her 20's while being a music journalist; she was caught up by sex, drug and rock and roll lifestyle. Then came 2012 when she got her awakening; realizing she abused her body, mind, and soul. Laura started to heal herself through yoga and meditation. Her mom works in psychiatry dealing with a mental health issue and she found out it was not useful for her; the therapist was not touching the depth of her soul. She learned that for the most part when you are unhappy they will put you in medication; have to learn that she doesn't need anyone's help to heal but herself.
What was the lowest point in your life?
After being addicted to painkillers, she got into a detox center; witness devastating experience and thinking she is still lucky that she didn't go through that way. When she got out; Laura went back to her old ways. While looking for somebody to save her, she gets back with an ex-bf hoping that they will work it out and eventually broke up. Thinking that being in the detox center is the lowest point of her life; only to realize that being abandoned and left alone in a city she is not familiar with is the lowest part of her life. In the midst of it, she prayed.
How did you overcome this time of your life?
The critical turning point for Laura is when she prayed even if she is not a religious person. This was when she was in her ex-bf house; don't know where to go and what to do. She prayed. Then suddenly someone she didn't hear of before texted her and offered a home she can live in. Kyla said it perfectly “when you pray you will get a result.”
What mode of healing do you use and chosen to help others healed with?
Laura used "word" to activate people's journey. She also uses reiki and astrology.

Three takeaways that you’ll get from this podcast are:
- "Even in our darkest experiences there is a really great purpose to why we are going through it"
- "The core wound for most of us is the feeling of abandonment."
- "When we put love in anything you do, it will have profound effect"
